Briefing
HEMM operations and underground safety — without burning the asset.

MINE-SIM trains operators and safety officers on Heavy Earth Moving Machinery, underground safety drills, blasting procedures and emergency response. Addresses the 226 mining deaths recorded in India between 2020 and 2024 through repeatable, consequence-free practice — governed by DGMS regulations and the Mines Act 1952.

Capability loadout

Every feature, audit-grade.

  • F / 01

HEMM operations — Excavator, Dumper, Dozer, Crane

Cab-fidelity simulation with realistic hydraulics, ground-pressure response and visibility constraints. Crew talk, blind spots and bench-edge proximity all modelled.

  • F / 02

Underground mine safety — roof falls, gas, ventilation

Strata behaviour under load, methane and CO build-up curves, and ventilation circuit logic. Rehearses the moments when a working face becomes a hazard.

  • F / 03

Blasting safety per DGMS Explosive Rules

Charge calculation, stemming, pattern initiation and exclusion-zone discipline. Trainees walk through the same checklist a shotfirer signs off on.

  • F / 04

    Seven progressive training levels

From cab familiarisation to full-shift coordinated mine operations. Each level unlocks against measured competency, not just attendance.

  • F / 05

Emergency response — fire, inundation, entrapment

Self-rescuer use, refuge chamber drills, communication discipline under stress. The scenarios that the manual covers and the field can't rehearse.

  • F / 06

    Three-tier analytics dashboard

Per-trainee, per-shift and per-mine views. Supervisor exports for DGMS audit support and Mines Vocational Training Rules documentation.

Operational flow

From briefing
to debrief.

  1. 01
    Pre-shift
PPE check, gas tests, equipment walk-around and toolbox talk.
  2. 02
    Operate
HEMM task — load, haul, dump or bench cut — under realistic ground conditions.
  3. 03
    Detect
Cue identification — methane spike, water seep, bench instability.
  4. 04
    Respond
Communicate, withdraw, isolate. Self-rescuer and refuge chamber drills as required.
  5. 05
    Debrief
Supervisor-graded review against DGMS reporting cadence.
